About This Product
Control the flow of non-potable water with the ProPress bronze/brass ball valve featuring a 1 in. press and 1 in. hose connection. The lead-free valve features a 316 stainless-steel ball, EPDM sealing elements, lockable handle and a double-stem seal. Press connections make installing this ball valve quick and efficient. Unlike traditional pipe fittings, there’s no need for calibration, flame or heavy equipment. Instead, Viega ProPress bronze ball valves install in just 4 easy steps: cut the copper tube to length, remove any burrs and surface imperfections, measure and mark the fitting insertion depth and use a press tool to connect the Viega ProPress zero-lead ball valve for a secure connection. Smart Connect technology identifies unpressed connections during pressure testing to ensure proper connections the first time and eliminate callbacks.
