About This Product
SharkBite ProLock fittings are a versatile and innovative full-flow Push-to-Connect fitting, desinged and engineered for use with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT & HDPE Pipe. The intuitive design makes for one of the simplest and most dependable fittings on the market. No tools are required to make a connection. They use a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe when fully inserted and an EPDM O-Ring to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal. The Twist-to-lock feature ensures maximum security. When twisted into place with indicator arrows aligned, the locking cap locks the pipe in place. Removing the fitting is even easier with no special tools required, simply twist the cap counterclockwise to unlock then depress collet against the fitting to remove from pipe. ProLock fittings are suitable for hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating applications. Code approved for behind-the-wall installations.
