About This Product
These Halo Surface Mount LED Downlights are ideal for use in your new home installation. This recessed lighting features an ultra-slim design that fits where LEDs can’t and they install directly into drywall without a junction box or additional housing. They’re ideal for use in commercial and residential areas, basements, attics, storage spaces, closets and more. These lights work with ceilings between 8 to 10 ft. and are wet-rated for showers or outdoor use.

- Does not work with recessed cans or existing junction boxes (there is a junction box pre-installed on the light fixture)
- Fixture is built to last with maintenance-free LEDs with 50,000 hours of life (equivalent to 22-years of life at 6 hours per day or 45 years at 3 hours per day), eliminating your need to use and replace bulbs
- Designed for installation in 7.5 in. square opening without junction boxes or recessed cans
- Sufficient brightness at 600 lumens to provide illumination to any room, great for 8 ft. – 10 ft. ceilings
- 3000K soft white color temperature provides a friendly and inviting atmosphere, works well throughout the house especially in living rooms, bathrooms, hallways and bedrooms
- 90 CRI title 24 compliant technology provides near sunlight quality light for true color rendering and consistency inside your home
- Lumen maintenance of L70 at a minimum of 50,000-hours (22 years), which means after that initial lifespan this fixture will still maintain 70% of its life and lumens
- Wet-rated, can be used in shower and outdoor light applications
- Mid-power LED array provides a uniform source with high efficiency and long-life
- Durable, stamped aluminum housing provides thermal cooling to extend the overall life of the fixture
- When released, the spring clips will rest on to the back side of the drywall ensuring a secure fit
- Continuous, flicker-free dimming from 100% to 5% (see buying guide for dimmer compatibility chart)
- Closed cell gasket achieves restrictive airflow and wet location requirements without additional caulking
- Non-electrically conductive polycarbonate frame
