About This Product
This 3/4 in. pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer is used to protect against health hazard and non-hazard backsiphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids in industrial plants, cooling tower laboratories, laundries, swimming pools and irrigation systems. It has a bronze body, spring loaded check valve, air relief valve with opening port, 2 resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks and NPT end connections. The maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10. 3 bar) and temperature range is 32F to 140F (0C to 60C). This assembly meets the specifications of the USC FCCC and HR Manual. The pressure vacuum breaker includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to signal when ambient temperature approaches the freeze threshold. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor also triggers freeze alerts to facility personnel. Connection kit available for building/irrigation management system (BMS/IMS).
