The AprilAire 110 MERV 11 Air Filter traps airborne contaminants using the patended AprilAire Self-Seal Technology. These contaminants include pollen, mold spores, bacteria, pet dander, and dust. By trapping these contaminants, it reduces your cleaning time and frequency. The MERV rating is a measurement of how effectively an air filter can trap airborne particles of different sizes. Higher MERV ratings signify better filtration capabilities. AprilAire Air Purifiers come with a 10-year Clean-Coil Commitment and minimal maintenance for your convenience. Should your new indoor air conditioner coil require professional cleaning within its first 10 years of use, AprilAire will pay $100 toward a cleaning by an HVAC contractor. Change the filter at least once a year to maintain peak performance of the AprilAire Air Purifier. AprilAire Air Filters are designed by AprilAire, the leader in Indoor Air Quality solutions for the home since 1954. Disclaimer: Applies to new HVAC system coils with an AprilAire Whole-House Air Purifier installed no more than 6 months after HVAC system installation. Unit must be properly maintained with air filters being changed according to recommended service schedule.
