Squirrels, however, are naturally inquisitive and ingenious. They easily find their way into the feeder by lifting the hinged feeder lid and claiming their bounty. The lid protects feed from the weather. An extended front porch allows squirrels to rest and feed comfortably. A clear plastic reservoir window contains 1 qt. of feed and keeps the feed level visible. By placing 1 or more Squirrel Munch Boxes at least 15 ft. away from your bird feeders, your squirrels’ attentions will be diverted from your bird feeders. This subtle solution to squirrel problems keeps you from spending time protecting your old feeders and from investing in the latest Squirrel-Proof Feeder technology. The Cedar Squirrel Munch Box may be mounted using the 2 pre-drilled holes.
