Access the drain pipe system to clear out clogs with the PVC Cleanout Adapter. Hub connects to 6 in. Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe; 6 in. Female Pipe Thread (FPT) connection fits 6 in. Male Pipe Thread (MPT) Cleanout Plug, sold separately. Durable yet lightweight, the drain fitting is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for Hub X FPT solvent-weld connections. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. This adapter connects two different pipe types. - As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC adapter connects S&D pipe with a hub connection on one end and either a threaded plug for access to the drain pipe system, or threaded pipe to convey water for proper release downstream
- Attach 6 in. S&D pipe to hub end, screw 6 in. MPT pipe to 6 in. FPT end; can be solvent-welded to PVC components for a watertight connection
- Adapter made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking.
- Use with PVC S&D Cleanout Plug, 6 in. MPT (61P8)
- Use with Pop-Up Drainage Emitters to discharge water at a point of release
