The high quality ABS blades are easy to install and the white bowl of the light set simply twists into place, making installation a breeze. This fan includes a feature-rich remote control that controls the speed and light of the fan, as well as the direction of airflow. Another handy feature of the remote is the timer function that turns off the lights and/or fan at a predetermined setting. DC motor fans are up to 70% more energy efficient than AC motor fans (when comparing efficiency).
